Utopia is an iPhone app that puts real clothes on your real photo. Add one full-length picture, and any of more than 400,000+ pieces from 281 brands can be rendered onto your own body — keeping your face, your proportions and your skin tone.
It does three things. You can see a piece on yourself before you buy it. You can put it on someone else — a friend, a partner, a parent — and send it to them. And you can look at what everyone else is wearing and try their fits on yourself in a tap.
The engine underneath generates a new photograph rather than pasting a garment over an old one, which is why the fabric hangs correctly and the lighting matches. There is a full explanation of how that works, written for people who want the mechanism rather than the pitch.

That means the fit guidance on this site comes out of a specific vantage point: running a generative try-on across a very large catalogue, and seeing which brands, silhouettes and photographs the model finds easy and which it finds hard. Where something is genuinely uncertain — sizing, in particular — the articles say so rather than rounding it into advice.

Your photos
Your photo builds your fit model and nothing else. Nothing you generate is public unless you choose to share it, and deleting your account permanently removes your photos, your fit model, your try-ons and your looks.
