By using Utopia you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
Your account
You must be at least 13 to have an account, and at least 18 to upload a photo of a person. You are responsible for what happens under your account. One person, one account.
Photos of people — the rule that matters most
Utopia generates realistic images of real people. That only works if everyone uses it honestly.
- Only upload photos of yourself. Do not upload a photo of anyone else — not a friend, not a stranger, not a public figure, and never a child.
- You may try clothes on a friend’s fit model only through the in-app friends feature, which requires them to have accepted you. The result stays private unless they choose to share it.
- Do not use Utopia to create sexual, nude, degrading, harassing or deceptive imagery of anyone.
We enforce this. Uploaded photos and generated images are screened automatically, and we act on reports. Breaking this rule gets your content removed and your account terminated, without refund or warning.
Other things you may not do
- Harass, bully, impersonate or threaten anyone.
- Post spam, scams or anything unlawful.
- Scrape the service, hammer our API, or try to break, overload or reverse engineer it.
- Use the app to build a competing dataset or model.
Reporting and blocking
Every profile, look and try-on made by someone else carries a Report action, and you can block anyone from your profile or from the ••• menu. Blocking is mutual and immediate: you disappear from each other. We review reports within 24 hours and remove content that breaks these terms.
Your content
Your photos and looks are yours. You grant us only the licence we need to run the service — to store your images, send them to our AI provider to generate your try-ons, and display them to the people you choose to share with. That licence ends when you delete the content or your account. We do not use your photos to train AI models and we do not sell them.
The catalog and the brands
Utopia shows products from publicly available retailer catalogs. Brand names, product names and product imagery belong to their respective owners. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a partner of any brand shown in the app. Tapping “Shop” takes you to the retailer’s own website, where any purchase is between you and them — we do not sell clothing, take payment, or handle shipping, returns or warranties.
If you own rights to content shown in the app and want it removed, email support@getutopia.app and we will act promptly.
Try-on images are illustrations
A try-on is an AI-generated approximation, not a photograph and not a promise. Fit, colour, drape, fabric and sizing will differ from reality. Do not rely on a try-on for purchasing decisions.
Availability and cost
Utopia is currently free and contains no in-app purchases. Generation is subject to fair-use limits so one person cannot exhaust the service for everyone. We may change, suspend or discontinue features at any time.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time from Profile ▸ ••• ▸ Delete account. We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms.
Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in the app before they take effect.
